The Punjab government is observing Anti-dengue Day across the province on Saturday (today).
To mark the day, seminars, walks and workshops have been arranged at all union councils of Lahore to create awareness about dengue among people.
Moreover, rallies are being staged and pamphlets are being distributed by different departments for public awareness against fatal disease.
The provincial government has already directed the district administration of all 36 districts of the province to remain extra vigilant during the current breeding season of dengue and invigorate the sanitary patrol teams and ordered to start dengue larva sweeping activity in full swing.
Higher Education and Health departments have devised plan to observe the day.
According to the retention they will continue to work on the basis of awareness of dengue day to prevent the spread of the disease as possible.
