The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to lift a ban on allotment of plots under the directives of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Minister Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
The officials said that a notification in this regard is likely to be issued within a day or two. The ban was imposed two months ago on complaints regarding flaws in the allotment process. In certain cases, double allotment had been made. The complaints were also received on allotment of plots in Sector G-10 and other sectors and model villages.
The property dealers were also mounting pressure that they have made an investment of millions of rupees and purchased files from the allottees and the ban was affecting their business adversely.
The sources said that two committees will be constituted for allotment of plots.
i think , it is a good move by CDA.
