Police on Wednesday raided the residence of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee member and former Member National Assembly Dr Abdul Qadir Khanzada.

Local residents said that the police took Khanzada’s son Ghaffar in custody during the raid at the MQM leader’s residence located in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

The MQM leader alleged that police vandalised and searched his entire house. He said that the police officer, wearing masks, entered the house from the rooftop.

He further said that his son was a government employee and they were being treated unfairly.
