The Supreme Court (SC) of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has annulled the decision of the high court and allowed Sardar Ghulam Sadiq Khan to contest the general election.
After knowing about the decision, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activists and supporters of Sardar Ghulam Sadiq Khan took to the streets and danced to the beat of drums. They also chanted slogans against PML-N politics and intrusion of federal government in AJK election.
The PPP workers distributed sweets among the people across AJK and prayed for the success of the Ghulam Sadiq, who as per them is among the most honest and honorable personalities and politicians of the AJK. They expressed hope of Ghulam Sadiq’s success in the election with a clear majority.
