PML-N govt committed to public service: Shehbaz

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that service to the masses is the motto of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) government and it has always given priority to the betterment of the masses. He said that welfare projects of billions of rupees have been completed during the last three years.

He expressed these views while talking to elected representatives belonging to various districts who met him on Wednesday. The chief minister said that transparency, high standard and speedy completion of development projects is the hallmark of the government. He said that federal and Punjab government have saved 215 billion rupees of public money in development projects which is a unique example in the history of the country. Shehbaz Sharif said that change cannot be brought about with mere slogans and practical efforts are needed for this purpose. He said that government is following the policy of balanced development of all areas and the process of public service and national progress and prosperity will continue under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

The chief minister said that elected representatives should serve the masses with commitment and spare no effort for redressal of their grievances. Those who met the chief minister included Provincial Minister Ata Maneka, Special Assistant Arshad Jutt, Members National Assembly Najaf Abbas Sayal, Sheikh Fayyaz ud Din, Begum Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, Member Provincial Assembly Raja Muhammad Ali and General Secretary PML-N Attock Asif Malik.
