As many as six reports of standing committees of Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Water and Power, and States and Frontier Regions were presented in the Senate on Monday.
The reports were presented by senators Mohsin Laghari, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan and Taj Haider in the House.
Mohsin Laghari on behalf of Standing Committee on Finance Chairman Saleem Mandviwala presented the reports on the bills to further amend Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001, the Credit Bureaus Act, 2015, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 and a report on the issue pertaining to salaries and allowance of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob presented the Water and Power Standing Committee’s report on replacement of old transmission lines in Talash Feeder (PESCO) while Taj Haider presented the report regarding recent transfer of political agents in various Agencies of FATA on behalf of Standing Committee on SAFRON Chairman Hilalur Rehman.
