National Book Foundation (NBF) has set up a street by the name of ‘Wall of Honour’ (WH) in its building where pictures of national leaders and commemorative stamps have been put on a display.
The commemorative stamps and pictures have been hanged by preserving them in graceful frames. The motive behind establishment of WH is to pay rich tributes to national heroes, poets and leaders.
Pictures of Allama Iqbal, Quaid-e-Azam, Mirza Ghalib, Hazrat Amir Khusro, Albaironi, Moulvi Abdul Haq, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali, Akhtar Sheerani, Khawaja Ghulam Farid, Maulana Hasrat Mohani, Pir Mehr Ali Shah, Hafiz Jalandhri, Hakim Saeed and others have been put on this wall for a display.
