Man killed, body parts chopped off for ‘honour’

A man was killed after his arms, lips and nose were chopped off by the attackers for allegedly having illicit relations with a married woman in Dera Ghazi Khan.  The attackers took away the chopped parts of body of the victim.

According to sources, the victim, named Allah Ditta, was a resident of Mozzah Sabrah Nichwan who was married and had illicit relations with another married woman of his village Paigan.

The woman had eloped with Allah Ditta but after the intervention from both the families she was sent back to her husband’s home.

When Allah Ditta was going to meet her again, five people intercepted him and subjected him to physical violence. They chopped off his arms, nose and lips and fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to nearby Gazi Medical trauma centre but he died due to bleeding in profusion.

Station House Officer (SHO) Ali Muhammad said that case was registered against two of the relatives of the woman, named Iqbal and Allah Diwaiya and three unknown people, while raids were underway to arrest the accused.
