Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) National Accountability Bureau arrested its employee Additional Director Rooman Zaheer on the charges of illegal gratification and corruption.
The accused is involved in corruption and corrupt practices with the connivance of others which is cognisable under the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999. The accused dishonestly, fraudulently, illegally received pecuniary advantage under the garb of closure of inquiry of NAB.
The KP NAB director general issued the arrest warrants of accused as per the loud and clear instructions of NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhary regarding zero tolerance against corruption.
The accused will be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.
