The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would campaign to include names of new Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) holders in electoral rolls from August 1 across the country.
An ECP spokesman said the voters who have disqualified due to deaths or otherwise will also be excluded from the rolls after door-to-door verification process.
The voters will also be provided a facility to check their vote status by sending their CNIC number to 8,300 SMS through their mobile phones.
