The law enforcement agencies Monday (today) arrested two employees of Karachi University, from Karachi’s Gulberg Town.area, allegedly involved in the murder of a policeman.
According to the reports, the employees identified as Zeeshan and Rehan were involved in the murder of Inspector Taufeeq Zahid.
The accused said to be affiliated with a political party.
In a separate search operation, police arrested seven alleged criminals of the Baba Ladla Group for Lyari.
During a separate raid at Orangi Town police arrested Muhammad Sarfaraz, an alleged member of a banned terrorist group. The accused has confessed to killing eight police officers, police said. He had also opened fire at a D.S.N.G van of a private news channel.
Moreover, police arrested a suspect Mohammad Pervez in Nazimabad area. The accused has confessed his involvement in dozens of street crimes.
