Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq called Turkish Parliament Speaker Ismail Kahraman and expressed solidarity with the Turkish people and parliament.
He said, “We are with the Turkish nation and its democratic institutions, and happy to see that the attempted coup was foiled by the people’s power.”
The Turkish speaker lauded the support of people, parliament and the government of Pakistan for democracy and rule of law in Turkey.
