Rain-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected in a number of places in KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan divisions), FATA, Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at scattered places in central / south Punjab (Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur divisions), northeast Balochistan (Zhob, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions) during the next 12 hours.
According to the Pakistan Metrological Department, heavy downpour may generate flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Northeast Punjab and Kashmir.
