Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has been shifted to the Governor House from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases after his condition bettered.
The governor was shifted to the hospital the other day after he felt unwell during Friday prayers. Dr Ishratul Ibad underwent different tests at the hospital including electrocardiography and angiography.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Karachi Corps Commander Naveed Mukhtar and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah telephoned the governor and inquired about his health.
According to the sources, he was taken to the intensive care unit after he was admitted following his arrival in the hospital. The medics had advised him to spend a night at the hospital under their supervision. He was permitted to leave the hospital on Saturday morning and his condition is stable.
