Rain likely in most areas of Pakistan today

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country in the last 12 hours.

Rain-thundershower occurred at scattered places of Hazara division, Kashmir while at isolated places of Kalat and Malakand divisions.

However, rain, dust thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is expected at a scattered place in south-east Sindh, Hazara division and Kashmir Wednesday (today).

Rain, a thunderstorm with gusty winds, the dust storm is also expected at isolated places of Islamabad, Punjab, Karachi, Sukkur, Larkana divisions and Eastern Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.

Meanwhile, the authorities have issued urban flooding warning following rain forecast.

The Met officials said fresh weather system of monsoon had entered in Pakistan from India could result in a wet spell in Lower Sindh, Punjab and Islamabad.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Wednesday morning:

Islamabad and Quetta 24°C, Lahore 28°C, Karachi 29°C, Peshawar 30°C, Gilgit 21°C, Murree 18°C and Muzaffarabad 22°C.
