Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was invited by the Oxford University of England to be graced with an honorary shield.

In recognition of his artistic services and contribution to music, the prestigious university honoured him with the shield.
He toured the university where a 200-year-old music room was opened for him to visit.
During the ceremony, the singer also performed with Oxford University’s Fusion Project students.

“The award is to be given by Oxford University will not be just for me but for the entire Pakistani nation and its music industry,” Rahat said in a statement.
