An arrested target killer affiliated with a political party has confessed to killing 16 persons, including six lawyers, during investigation, a private news channel reported on Tuesday.
The alleged hitman identified as Imran revealed to the investigators that he killed 11 persons and burned six lawyers alive in incidents on April 9, in year 2008.
The arrested target killer also disclosed the names of 10 other hitmen who have been involved in killings and murders in the metropolis.
The investigation report also revealed that Imran had also collected Rs 0.5 million Fitrah from the citizens on the instruction of a Unit In-charge of his party.
