The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has termed 308 dilapidated buildings in different parts of the city “dangerous” and warned their residents to vacate these risky structures.
According to a survey of the technical committee of SBCA, the basic structure of these buildings is not fit for human living and they may collapse during heavy rains and result in human tragedy.
However, the SBCA has already declared emergency and ensured presence of technical staff in town sections in three shifts.
