A man’s nose and ear were chopped off by the relatives of a girl who he eloped with, within the limits of Mochi Wala police jurisdiction.
Sources said the girl was a resident of Chak 250 Jhang who left the house to marry the victim named Imran Ali.
After some days of her leaving the house, their family members forced her to come back to home according to a decision of a local village council and called the boy at home for negotiation.
When the boy came to the girl’s house, her family members thrashed him and allegedly chopped off his nose and ears.
According to police, the victim was a resident of Lahore and was rushed to RHC health Centre Lahore for first aid. However, FIR was not registered against suspects.
