‘CPEC will bring economic revolution in the region’

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring economic revolution in the region and China is keen to share the fruits of its prosperity with friends, said Kashgar Administration Commissioner Paerhati Rouzi during an interactive meeting with visiting Peshawar Town-1 Nazim Zahid Nadeem and Pakistan China Friendship Association (PCFA) Secretary General Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani at Kashgar State Guest House in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of People’s Republic of China.

The meeting was also attended by member Communist Party of China Fan Baojun, Kashgar Administration Secretary General Alimujiang Aximu, Kashgar Foreign Office Deputy Head Roshan Gul and Xinjiang Foreign Office Hamit Majit. Paertati Rouzi welcomed the guests from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and desired to further improve the result-oriented interaction with Pakistani counterparts. He said that the 12th Kashgar Central and South Asia Commodity Fair 2016 is another effort from the central government of China to strengthen the CPEC process as Kashgar is a very important city on the historic silk route in China and has been a centre of business activities for many centuries. The Kashgar commissioner offered his all out support to further strengthen the Pak-China economic relations and said CPEC will bring a new economic development and prosperity in the region.

Appreciating the friends from KP, he welcomed business and trade communities from the friendly province. The visiting nazim Zahid Nadeem highlighted the exemplary Pak-China relations and invited the Kashgar business community to invest in Peshawar which will further enhance the economic activities in the region.

Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani termed CPEC as a fate changer saying this type of economic and commercial activities always bring prosperity in the life of the people of area and time-tested Sino-Pak friendship will further strengthen with CPEC implementation in the real sense across Pakistan.
