Dilapidated Highway

Through this letter, I want to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards the dilapidated state of the National Highway, the main artery of the city.

Currently, the highway needs major repair and uplift as it is severely damaged at various points, which cause traffic collisions and often lead to fatal accidents and injuries among the road users.

Other than resulting in a higher rate of accidents, numerous potholes on the road cause regular traffic jams, which severely affect those employees and workers who have to reach their offices and workplaces that are located along the route, but owing to poor road conditions the majority of workers are unable to arrive on time.

As this is happening every day, it is causing acute frustration among the commuters, but nothing has been done so far to resolve the matter permanently.

The National Highway requires a total revamp and needs a thorough upgrade immediately.
