Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak Sunday arrived in Karachi and visited the grave of renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi who died on Friday.
Accompanied by KP Speaker Asad Qaisar and PTI leaders, the chief minister laid floral wreath on Edhi’s grave at Edhi village in Karachi. “To pay homage to Edhi and to continue his mission, we will do whatever could,” Khattak said, adding that Imran Khan would also arrive in Karachi for condoling Edhi’s death with his family.
Earlier, reports said the KP government had decided to allot free land for establishment of Edhi Centers at government-run hospitals in Kohat, Swabi and Swat.
