Nine outlaws held in capital; bike, valuables recovered

The Islamabad police arrested nine outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen bike, ornaments and valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, on special directions of SP Saddar Bilal Zafar, Ramna Police Station SHO Irshad Ali Abro and ASI Iqbal along with the police team arrested accused Kamran Ashraf, a resident of Dhoke Kashmirain Rwalpindi, and recovered gold ornaments, prize bonds and cash from him. During the investigation, Kamran confessed about his involvement in five robberies in the areas of Ramna police station.

The police team also arrested another accused Sohail, involved in bike theft and recovered a stolen bike from him. The Central Intelligence Agency police arrested a fraudster Muhammad Amin.

The Koral police team arrested six accused, including four women allegedly involved in immoral activities. They were identified as Munwar Yousaf, Waseem, Saher, Sahra Munair, Sana, and Shazia.

Islamabad SSP Sajid Kiani appreciated this overall performance and directed the police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city to curb activities of anti-social elements.
