The met office has forecasted more monsoon rains across the country from today till Thursday.
A met office spokesman said that a low pressure over central parts of India and a fresh westerly wave are heading towards Pakistan and are likely to bring rain and dust thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls at number of places in Punjab, Islamabad, lower Sindh and Kashmir.
The spokesman said that rain and dust thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls is also expected at scattered places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, upper Sindh and eastern Balochistan during this period.
The met office advised all the authorities concerned to remain alert from Monday to Thursday as isolated heavy downpours may trigger flash floods in vulnerable areas.
