Police on Friday claimed to have killed two terrorists in Manghopir area of the metropolis.
On a tip-off, a police team conducted a targeted operation near Northern Bypass in Manghopir area where they claimed that militants opened fire on them which they retaliated and killed two terrorists. The police said the killed had links with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Swati group. One of the deceased was identified as Rehmatullah. The police also claimed to have recovered explosive material from their possession.
AFGHANS AMONG 22 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Meanwhile, 22 suspects including 11 foreigners were arrested during a police search operation in Karachi’s Orangi Town area. The Orangi superintendent police said most of the arrested suspects belonged to Afghanistan.
