The employees of a factory in Korangi industrial area left work and staged a protest, demanding payment of their salaries before Eidul Fitr and burned two vehicles.
The charged protesters shouted slogans against the factory management and also set ablaze two vehicles parked on the road.
The employees were of the view that the management had ensured that salaries and allowances would be paid before Eidul Fitr; however, they reneged from their promises.
The law enforcement agencies, police and Rangers rushed and brought the situation under control.
