CM announces one month salary as bonus for PHA employees

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated first botanical garden of its kind in Pakistan at Jallo Park today and also planted a sapling in the garden. He extended advance Eid greetings to Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) staff and announced one month salary as a bonus for them.

After the inauguration, the CM prayed and talked to the media. He said that the project of botanical garden was prepared one and half years ago and responsibility of implementation of the project was assigned to PHA. He said that botanical garden has been completed with high standards.

He said this botanical garden will play an important role with regard to the promotion of tourism and will also help the students of botany and research.

Sharif thanked PHA DG Mian Shakeel, PHA Vice Chairman Iftikhar Ahmed, Lahore administration, NESPAK and Niaz Ahmed and congratulated them.

He said that botanical garden has been set up at 80 acres of land at a cost of Rs 30 crore.
