Pervaiz Elahi wants treason case against Mehmood Achakzai

The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday demanded a treason case against Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai.

While talking to media in Lahore, Pervaiz Elahi said that Afghanistan has forgotten Pakistan’s favour of bearing Afghan refugees for more than 30 years.

He said that Achakzai’s statement of calling Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province a land of Afghans is totally insane. He alleged that Achakzai is leading a lobby in Pakistan which is strictly condemned.

The PML-Q leader also asked Mahmood Khan Achakzai how much money has been taken for pro-Afghanistan comments.

He also urged the federation to take action in this regard.

Pervaiz Elahi also lashed out at the incumbent government over the issue of pensioners.

Earlier, Achakzai said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province belongs to Afghans and they are allowed to live there without any fear and hesitation.

Achakzai said that he would not permit anyone to harass Afghan migrants in their “own land.”

“If Afghans are harassed in other parts of Pakistan, they should come here to the Pakhtunkhwa province, where no one can ask them for refugee cards because it also belongs to them,” Achakzai added.
