A man allegedly killed his spouse over a domestic issue within Civil Lines police jurisdiction.
Police said that Muhammad Zulfiqar, a resident of Dheri Hassan, had some altercation with his wife Saima, 36, over a domestic issue. On Sunday night, they argued over an issue and Zulfiqar hit his wife in the head with a dagger and killed her. Later, the accused also injured himself by hitting his abdomen with the same dagger. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police arrested the accused in injured condition and started investigation.
