A bus carrying dozens of passengers was held up by armed robbers in Qazi Ahmad area on Friday.
The bus, travelling from Karachi to Sadiqabad, was intercepted by unidentified dacoits near Doulatpur Bypass. The robbers took the passengers hostage at gunpoint and deprived them of their money.
After robbery, the miscreants fled the scene. It may be mentioned that as police have failed to control robberies, bandits have looted millions of rupees from people travelling to their native towns and cities for Eidul Fitr.
