Federal Minister for Information Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said the people of all the provinces, including Azad Kashmir, had pinned hopes with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as it was the sole political party that had been whole-heartedly working for the development and progress of the entire country.

Speaking a ceremony organized in honour of Syed Sarfaraz Naqvi on joining the PML-N along with his 30 supporters on Saturday, Rashid said that none of the parties in the country can claim of carrying out development from Khunjrab to Gwadar and rendering indiscriminate service to the public.

He claimed that in 2018 when the PML-N completes its five years in power, would be better as compared to 2013 and the PML-N would contact the people on the basis of its performance.

He said nobody could point the finger at the honesty and humbleness of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and at the cost of development works.

Rashid said the PML-N’s election symbol ‘lion’ had now become a symbol of progress in Pakistan as well as in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). There would be equal progress and prosperity across Kohala as well as the PML-N was the only party which was serving the common people without any discrimination, he added.

He said serving the nation was a mission of the PML-N and added that we wanted Kashmir to keep its identity. It was their desire that the people of Kashmir should not go abroad in search of jobs rather they should go for higher education and recreation activities, he maintained.

The information minister further said that PML-N wanted to provide facilities of health, education and employment to Kashmiris at their doorsteps.
