Dar tells Imran to apologise to Maryam

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday demanded Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to apologise to Maryam Nawaz, upholding moral and Islamic values after disclosure of the identity of the person who misbehaved with Imran Khan’s sister in Lahore.

“The PTI chief is habitual of reacting to any situation without probing the matter,” he said while rejecting the allegations levelled by Imran Khan that Maryam Nawaz was involved in the incident.

Dr Uzma, sister of Imran Khan was allegedly threatened and misbehaved by security and police squad deployed on VIP movement of Maryam Nawaz.

However owner of a house where the incident took place clarified that the security protocol was not of Maryam but of President Azad Kashmir, Sardar Yaqoob.

Dar said Imran Khan was head of a political party therefore he should adopt a responsible attitude.

He said that Maryam Nawaz is daughter of the nation and any irresponsible statement about her is regrettable.
