An Indian’s visit to SKH

I am an employee of a New Delhi based international publishing company and often visit many countries including Pakistan. I was very curious to see Shaukat Khanum Cancer hospital in Lahore as I have read and heard a lot about this hospital in newspapers and TV programs. Luckily I went to Pakistan for a business meeting last month and expressed my desire to see this hospital to a local publisher. He accompanied me on my visit to the hospital where I was overwhelmed to see such an extraordinary health care facility in a country like Pakistan. I saw what I read and heard about the hospital and can say that this hospital is worth praising, the staff, doctors and the level of cleanliness in the premises of the hospital was exemplary. The most astonishing fact about the Hospital for me was that majority of the patients get free treatment of a disease like cancer there. Imran Khan and Pakistani nation has done a tremendous job by establishing such a hospital for the people of Pakistan and they all must be proud of it. I salute Imran Khan for this great act of kindness for his nation.
