Security alert raised across country on occasion of Jumat-ul-Wida

A security alert was raised in Peshawar and Sindh on the occasion of Jumat-ul-Wida in the country.

Police authorities stated that foolproof security measures had been taken to ensure the safety of people at mosques. According to details, 2,000 police officials have been ordered to patrol the streets and be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.

Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal also alerted police across the province to stay vigilant on the occasion of Jumat-ul-Wida. Siyal said that at the time of Friday prayers, Iftar and Tarawih prayers, the security plan would be implemented strictly.

Police have also been alerted regarding the entry and exit points of the city.

Jumat-ul-Wida is an important religious day for Muslims throughout the world. Since it is the last Friday of the holy month, prayers for forgiveness are offered by the devout for the forgiveness of their sins and acceptance of their wishes.
