The government has handed over five armoured vehicles to the Airport Security Force (ASF) to enhance airport security.
According to reports, five armoured vehicles – the first to be used by the ASF – have been delivered to Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar international airports, while five others are expected to be ready for deployment soon. The vehicles are made by Heavy Industries Taxila.
