Police arrested 94 suspects, including three dozen Afghan nationals, and recovered arms and drugs during separate search operations on Thursday.
A heavy contingent of police on information regarding the presence of wanted criminals conducted a search operation in Hayatabad locality of the provincial capital Peshawar. During house to house search and investigation, the police arrested 45 suspects including 24 Afghan nationals, recovered arms and drugs from their possession.
The police detained 35 people residing in a rented house for not submitting the documents required for record despite repeated reminders and notices.
During the routine search in Gul Bahar area of the provincial capital Peshawar, the police arrested 14 suspects including five illegal Afghan immigrants.
The recovered arms and drugs were confiscated by the police.
