Islamabad Police arrested nine outlaws and recovered a total of 4.205 kg hashish, 90 liter liquor and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Koral Police Station Additional SHO Pervez Iqbal nabbed drug pushers Ramzan and Arshad from Khana Dak for having 1,035 gram and 1,015 gram hashish respectively. Sub-Inspector Sultan Mehmud arrested Shaukat from Khana Dak and recovered 1120 gram hashish from him, while another accused Zubair Khan was held for possessing 1035 gram hashish.
Meanwhile, four Afghan nationals identified as Asad, Islam, Shakir and Yadgai were also held because they were residing in the country illegally.
On a tip off, Loi Bher police raided a house in National Police Foundation Colony and recovered 90 liter liquor from there.
Secretariat Police arrested a thief Khaleeq Mughal and recovered stolen items from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
