Three electrocuted by heavy rains

As many as three men died on Thursday due to electrocution in three separate incidents following heavy rains, mostly due to falling of spanned electricity wires.

Abdul Waheed, aged 25 and resident of Korangi, died due to electrocution as an electric wire fell on him while he was walking in a local cricket ground.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, Yar Khan, aged 48, was electrocuted when a live electric wire fell on his car near his residence in Fareed Colony.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In many other areas of the city, snapped electricity wires are a major threat to human lives but the K-Electric is too slow to fix these killing wires in the mega city.
