A leader of the Opposition and member of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Mehmoodur Rasheed presented the resolution against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s ‘self-imposed exile’ has been moved in the Punjab Assembly, reported Wednesday.
The resolution demanded the premier to return to the country immediately.
The resolution states a fair warning to the Prime Minister about his premiership as the opposition leader wrote the nation would be forced to ‘think’ if Nawaz Sharif is interested in solving people’s issues or not.
Rasheed has further demanded the Prime Minister to table his resignation as soon as he returns.
The premier is on a doctor-advised rest in London since after his open-heart surgery last month.
The ruling party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is tight-lipped over premier’s return. No date has been announced until today regarding his return.
