PML-N govt using load shedding as tool to victimise Sindh: Bilawal

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the PML-N government is using long hours load shedding as a tool to victimise the people of Sindh, adding that such policies are harming federation.

“Load shedding of 18 to 20 hours in almost all the cities of Sindh province from Sukkur to Thatta and Thar to Karachi is an artificial attempt to punish the people of Sindh for standing with the PPP,” he said during a meeting with Senator Islamuddin Shaikh, MPAs Ikramullah Dharejo and Dr Bahadur Dahri who called on him separately at Bilawal House on Wednesday.

Senator Islamuddin Shaikh and others apprised the chairman about the development schemes and political situation in their respective areas and complained about the worst conditions of electricity supply in the province. Bilawal Bhutto criticised Nawaz government for adopting such biased policies against the people and said that such designs would be vehemently opposed and resisted by the PPP, its leadership and workers.
