RA Bazaar police busted an inter-provincial gang of dacoits and nabbed its 15 members involved in robberies in various cities.
According to RA Bazaar police, police teams under the supervision of RA Bazaar SHO Yasir Rabbani were constituted to ensure the arrest of criminals involved in various dacoities and cash snatching incidents outside banks.
A police team after hectic efforts succeeded in arresting 15 dacoits involved in dacoities. The nabbed men have been identified as Usman (gang leader), Shahid Butt, Amir, Akram, Aziz Ahmed, Afhan, Khalid Hussain, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Irfan, Arshad Lahori, Ilyas and others. Police also recovered Rs 1.2 million cash, weapons and ammunition from their possession.
During the preliminary investigation, they confessed various crimes committed in different cities including Faisalabad, Jhang, Lahore and Rawalpindi. These robbers have already remained jailbirds and used to snatch cash from people coming out from banks. Police have registered a case against them while further investigation is underway.
