Ten wounded in gas cylinder explosion

At least ten people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Islamabad on Monday morning.

According to rescue sources, a gas cylinder exploded inside a house located in Islamabad’s Sector G-9/2 area due to which ten people including, women and three children, were wounded. A wall of the house was also damaged.

The explosion was heard in the far flung areas of the federal capital.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the blast victims to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for the treatment of their injuries. The condition of two persons was stated to be critical.
