The Sindh Rangers Tuesday filed a petition in the anti-terrorism court against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem Akhtar challenging the court’s decision for granting him permission to travel abroad.
In its petition, Rangers said that MQM leader Waseem Akhtar could not be allowed to go abroad as serious cases against him were pending before courts.
Rangers further said that the MQM leader would runaway if he is allowed to go abroad. The court issued notice to Waseem Akhtar and prosecutor for June 30.
