A man allegedly committed suicide within the Saddar police jurisdiction.
The police said that 35-year-old Amir, a resident of Saddar, locked himself in a room and hanged him with a ceiling fan.
The police took the body into their possession and shifted it to District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained immediately.
