Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah took oath as the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court at Governor’s House on Tuesday.
Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana administered the oath to the new chief justice.
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, judges of the LHC and senior lawyers attended the oath-taking ceremony.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Supreme Court judge Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan took oath of his office on Tuesday morning.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali administered the oath to Ijaz Ul Ahsan at a ceremony held at Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry.
