Justice Mansoor Ali Shah becomes new LHC CJ

Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana administered the oath to the new Lahore High Court Chief Justice, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, at the Governor’s house, on Tuesday.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah attended oath taking ceremony.

Meanwhile, newly-appointed Supreme Court judge Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan took oath of his office on Tuesday morning.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali administered the oath to Ijaz Ul Ahsan at a ceremony held at the Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry.

Judges and lawyers attended the ceremony.
