Religious scholars are said to be the protectors of religious customs traditions and spreading religion to others. They are the custodians of religion and must be exemplary for the public in acts and deeds. But recently Maulana Abdul Qavi, a member of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has been caught barehanded on camera doing un-Islamic activities with a model Qandeel Baloch. Today, we charge many non-Muslims of religious profanities. Moreover, being the majority population we have left no stone unturned in inflicting harm on religious minorities here in Pakistan of the crime they never even dare to commit. We appreciated the killing of Salman Taseer on religious issues and have labelled many Muslims as Kaafirs on doing any single activity against the teaching of Holy Prophet (pbuh). But now when the Maulvis are involved in such illicit activities I am amazed why these religious clerics are silent on taking action against the man who under the garb of religion crossed all the limits of Islamic teachings. It is obvious now how religious leaders use sacred religion to meet their unending lust and we, being their ardent followers, answer their calls without even thinking of it. It is high time Muslims should understand the true teachings of Islam and avoid following such Maulvis who even do not respect the sacred month of Ramzan.

Besides the above scandals , we have no reason to believe this month is any 'holy' because the worst we can do is to increase the prices of kitchen items and make profit not possible during the rest eleven months. Till last year, the target of Bhatta was always doubled during this 'holy' by London Don. Killings and kidnappings also increase during this month of blessing. Yet we call it month of 'blessings'.
