Yesterday an iftar in Lahore was organised by members of Women Wing in which Rai Azizullah and Shafqat Mahmood participated. In the discussions both of them express regret that JKT and SMQ notifications were issued which will further divide the party and damage its prospects.
Rai Azizullah is one of those people who is respected by everyone in PTI Punjab. Similarly Shafqat Mahmood has a good intellectual mind. In my various discussions with them I found them appreciative of our reform efforts and agreed with our policy position. But both of them also said that it is not possible for them to support us publicly as that could anger Chairman Imran Khan. Rai sb is an old friend. So I understand his position. But we appreciate that they expressed their discontent with notification of JKT and SMQ.

I do not see any reason for publishing this letter. The notification regarding JKT & SMQ would not divide the party. The writer's apprehensions are based on bias against the two leaders. Such discussions must be kept within the party. Public disclosure will harm the party. We must honor the party discipline.
Imran Khan is a mature politician. He would not mind dissenting opinion. Put your case before the party head without fear of his reaction.
