Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday said that land grabbing was one of the major reasons behind terrorism, adding that the term originated from Karachi.
The chief minister was addressing the Sindh Assembly session in which he said that land grabbing was also a reason behind target killing incidents. The minister claimed that 6,500 acres of land was freed from land grabbers in Karachi. He said that a number of requests were made regarding this matter but the same were rejected.
“All the fight is related to land and money, and the third I do not want to name,” he said. In the Saturday’s session of the House, the chief minister said that security agencies had made important leads in the murder case of Amjad Sabri and kidnapping of Owais Ali Shah.
