Five looted at gunpoint

At least five men were looted at gunpoint within the RA Bazaar and Chauntra police jurisdictions.

Umar Ali, a resident of RA Bazaar, lodged a complaint with the local police that five armed men intercepted him at gunpoint at Tyre Market and deprived him of Rs 45,000 in cash, a cell phone and other valuables.

Separately, Awais, a resident of Chauntra, lodged a complaint with the local police that four armed men boarded a bus and looted him, his friend Saqawat, bus driver Qamar Sultan and conductor Khalid at gunpoint. The robbers made off with his cell phone, Rs 10,000 in cash from Saqawat, Rs 11,000 from the driver and a cell phone from Khaild.
